CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

To submit an abstract for consideration please follow the instructions below.

1. Click on the appropriate link on the right hand side of this page

2. General abstract information - you will be asked to insert the title of your abstract, the authors and a brief biography. Please ensure you have this information available before proceeding.

3. You will be asked to identify your preferred presentation type from the following:

  • Lecture Sessions - Forums in which authorities/leaders in their field speak on a particular topic/session.  These adddresses are formal with little audience interaction.
  • Symposium - A meeting where a particular theme/topic is discussed by several specialists in the form of formal presentations, including recent research finding.  A discussion/question and answer session will complete the allotted time.

There are two types of symposium.  If you are submitting an abstract that you would like to be considered for inclusion in a symposium with 'like-type' presentations, please indicate your presentation type as Individual Symposium.

If you have a group of abstracts that form a symposium, please indicate your presentation type as Symposium. In this instance, the Chair of the Symposium will need to submit the abstracts together on the one word document in addition to an abstract that gives an overview on the symposium. It is not necessary for each presenter to submit their abstracts however Chair should also provide a list of their fellow-presenters, their organisation and their respective email addresses.
  • Workshops - Sessions based on a particular theme/topic, involving a small group of specialists providing brief interactive presentations with equally balanced audience participation through a discussion to assist learning.
  • Posters - please note that there is a seperate form to submit for a poster presentation.  Posters are visual presentations of research projects for display in the exhibition hall.  Poster sessions can be scheduled into the main program whereby authors are available to discuss their work.

4. You will need to select the conference stream relevant to your abstract.  Click here to view the Congress streams.
